Default Building Service

Hey Guys,

I've been out of the game for a while, but wanted to let everyone know that I'm back to building again. I offer very good and solid work for reasonable rates with good turn-around times. Whether it be a full kit or ARF, I can give quotes on everything from 'built to primer' to RTF. Lots of experience with:

Yellow Kits
SM ARFs
BV ARFs
BV Kits
The Alphabet Soup of Chinese ARFs.

I take great pride in the straightness of my surfaces, paper-thinness of my gaps, cleanness of my slots and linkages... and effectiveness of my reinforcement without unnecessary weight gain.

You can follow your build online with pics from start to finish. I just moved to a place with a bigger garage and am ready to get to work.

Let me know if you've got anything needs building!

Hi Shaun,

Do you have pictures of your builds, and setups?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes. Through the years, I've posted many here on RCU under the name "Yellow Aircraft." For about 15 years, that was my RCU handle while I was a Field Rep/Sponsored Pilot, but I changed it to my real name (Shaun Evans) for various reasons. I believe I have build threads on more than one Yellow F-18 Twin, BVM Sabre, Yellow F-16, A-4 and Starfires, and more than a few other jet makes. I'll try and dig up the URL's and post them.

Thanks!

I can attest to Shaun's building skills and his attention to detail. A couple years ago he built a Yellow Aircraft F-16 for me and he did an amazing job. Everything fit perfectly and was able to provide many pointers and recommendations for hardware to go in the aircraft. Shaun's price was much lower than I had anticipated as well.

Here is a link to his build of the F-16 he did for me, http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-j...ull-build.html

If I was in the market for a new build, Shaun would be the first one I'd call for a build.

Dr. V,

Here are a couple of threads I found:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-jets-120/11591198-new-yellow-aircraft-mako-f-16-edf-project-full-build.html

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-j...rs-thread.html

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-j...18-single.html

You might have to wade through a few pages of discussion if you just want to see the pics

Just go to the top of the page, click "thread tools" and the dropdown will allow you to select "isplay al images" and then all you see are the pictures and no wading required!

Thanks Shun. I'm in Los Angeles so would be a short drive for me when I need your building services.

Would you be interested in repainting an Ultra Flash?
Thanks,

Hi,

Paint jobs (particularly sport jets) aren't 'competition class' out of my shop, so I usually farm those out to the real artists. Not trying to repel work, but I gotta keep it real

Ram-Bro,

Nope, not just jets. Can do full wood kits, too.

Although Shawn's never built anything for me, I enjoy building myself way too much myself, I have known Shawn for over 25 years and I can attest to Shawn's building skills and work ethic. You won't be disappointed with one of Shawn's airplanes.
