Default JR XG14 - Turbine Shutdown

Can anyone help with how to programme the JR XG14 so I can shut the turbine down via one of the spare switches. I just want it to flip the throttle trim to the lowest position so I don't have to wait for it to transit from top to bottom.

thanks

You can do it in the Function list Thro Trim and chose a switch for throttle cut. Set Thro trim memory for one touch. There are choices!

Thanks Dave. sadly my programming skills are at best left wanting. I need a complete dummies guide if im going to have a remote chance of achieving the desired result. but thanks for confirming that it can be achieved (by someone vastly more competent than me)

Cheers

Describe exactly what you require, switch you feel safe using and we will walk you through.

Function List
THRO TRIM

Go to THRO CUT.
First SW SEL and select MIX SW on page 3 and make the 1 black. Press L (List button-second button down on left of TX, to go back)
You should see OFF or ON with the switch flicked, where it says ACT wind that down with the roller to -25%.
Come back to the normal screen and ensure the throttle trim is in the middle, now if you go to monitor to watch what is happening you will see the throttle trim jump from -100 to -125, when you lean the Rx doi the off with the switch thrown, idle with it back (normal position) and use the throttle stick for full power.

With the switch on the turbine will stop, you can set a delay TIME LAG of 1-1.5sec so if you knock the switch you can hit it back and the turbine won't stop

Dave
